No gap joint replacement and ACL surgery

We are pleased to offer eligible patients the opportunity to undergo surgery with no out-of-pocket (gap) costs for major joint replacement and soft tissue knee surgery including ACL reconstruction, under our No-Gap Surgery Program. This program is available in collaboration with selected private health funds.

✅ Am I Eligible for No-Gap Surgery?

You may be eligible for no-gap surgery if you meet the following criteria:

1. Health Fund Participation

  • You must be insured with a private health fund that is signed up to the No-Gap Surgery Program.

  • If you're unsure, please check with your health fund or ask our team for assistance.

2. Clinical Health Criteria

To ensure safety and suitability, you must meet the following clinical conditions:

  • Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) less than 6

    • This means you should be independent or only mildly frail, and able to carry out daily activities with little or no assistance.

  • No major comorbidities

    • You should not have significant medical conditions such as uncontrolled heart disease, advanced lung disease, poorly managed diabetes, or other conditions that would increase surgical risk.

💬 What If I Don’t Qualify?

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, we will still work with you to:

  • Discuss all available options

  • Provide a clear breakdown of any expected costs

  • Support you in accessing the care you need safely
